EVENT DETAILS

Judith's Walk

Judith's Walk started in 2018 as a way for Dean to remember his wife Judith who passed away from ovarian cancer in March 2017. Held on the last Sunday in February each year Judith's walk as well as other fund raising activities have raised many thousands of dollars to support the fight against ovarian cancer and other types of cancers.

"Raising Awareness is my main goal in my life, any funds for Ovarian Cancer raised is a bonus." (Dean Rowe)

Starting in the Willunga Rose Garden the walk makes its way along the Willunga train and onto the shiraz trail. with a bus kindly provided by Woodcroft College at the end of the trail to bring everyone back to the start line for some speeches and the drawing of the raffle.

A turnout of approximately 100 people including friends and family of Dean, local members of government and a long time supporter one of the nurses who looked after Judith in her final days.

I have locked in the date to come and help out again next year. See you then Dean.
