Meadows Easter Fair

It's great to see the reopening of the Meadows Easter Fair this year. Beginning in 1997 the fair has enjoyed an uninterrupted run until last year where is could not be held due to COVID.

Over the last 4 days of the Meadows Easter Fair we have had a total of 23,432 people came through the gates with our quietest day being Monday bringing in over 5,000 people.

This year there were a few changes from the last fair due to COVID rules. Expansion into the park/playground area this year opened up a lot more space for a kid friendly area with even more plans for a full blown kids zone in the works for next year.

Stalls included products such as a variety of locally grown plants, food from all over the world, chili to melt you on the spot, leatherworking masterpieces, a petting zoo, iron artworks, show bags, antiques and much, much more.

Over 2 liters of sun screen and 86 bottles of hand sanitizer were used over the last 4 days with the sun coming out in full force.

Henry and Jason were brought on board by the Meadows Community Hall committee and in two months managed to put on a fantastic and COVID compliant event.
