Barossa Medieval Fair

The Barossa Medieval Fair is a brand new event starting this year and was an amazing 2 days of adventure for the whole family including medieval knights, food, games, artisans and loads more.
Featured events included:
Full contact Armored combat in the Scorpion Arena with the SA Scorpions Vs. the Victorian Team Kraken.
Exhibition matches courtesy of Ironclad Academy of the Sword and the Society of Creative Anachronisms.
Wildlife displays and demonstrations courtesy of the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary.
Goods vendors made using traditional medieval methods such as tanning, candle making, blacksmithing etc.
Multiple food and beverage vendors providing both traditional and not so traditional fare.
Despite the wild weather this event was put on amazingly well thanks to Henry and his team of volunteers who have put forward amazing feats of endurance to make sure the inaugural event was a resounding success.
A total of 4,327 patrons attended this years fair and over $180,000 was spent locally in the Barossa Valley on accomodation, sales, food and Barossa made items over the duration of the event
