Tacker Attack

Tacker Attack at the Loveday 4x4 Adventure Park is a bi-yearly commando course aimed at the under 13 age group. Dozens of obstacles thought the course encouraged adventurous play and pushed the kids to their limits. Some of the bigger kids got in on the action too as they could not resist the temptation to get down and dirty themselves.

Obstacles included tire climbs, vertical and horizontal rope nets, climbing walls, pitfalls with rope climbs, pipe crawls, some massive slippery hill climbs as well as lakes and lakes of mud.

A couple of scout troops joined us on the adventure and made for an excellent display of what is means to be a scout.

At the end of the session everyone was greeted by some nice hot showers (or a cold hose if they were feeling brave) as well as some awesome food prepared by the on site master chef. A new attraction was introduced this year being hot laps around the track in some of the buggies kindly provided by some of the racers. Money raised from the hot laps and from the night time raffles and auction was donated to the Lyell McEwin Hospital.

A fantastic event for all ages. I hope to see you all again for the next run in January sometime.
